Smart LeadLock started as an internal tool for gating downloads on our own projects. When we couldn't find a plugin that combined lead capture, automation, and paid downloads without duct-taping three separate tools together, we built one.
Why we built Smart LeadLock
Most WordPress sites end up stitching together a form plugin, an email service, a scoring spreadsheet, and a separate checkout tool just to turn visitors into customers. Each piece works fine on its own, but nothing talks to each other, and every integration is one more thing that can break.
Smart LeadLock puts file gating, lead capture, automation, scoring, and paid downloads behind a single shortcode and a single dashboard. You still own your data. You still use WordPress. You just stop paying for, and maintaining, four extra tools.
We keep the free Lite plan genuinely useful on purpose. If Smart LeadLock is only worth paying for once you've outgrown the free tier, that's the product working as intended.
