1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how UfirstDEV Technologies (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit acquisitionsuite.ufirstdev.com, purchase a plan, contact us, or use the parts of the AcquisitionSuite Pro plugin that talk to our licensing service (license activation, validation, and update checks).
Important: this policy covers our website and licensing systems. When you install AcquisitionSuite on your own WordPress site and collect leads through it, you (the site owner) are the data controller for that data, not us. The leads, submissions, orders, and email logs the plugin stores live in your WordPress database, and we do not have access to them. You will need your own privacy policy covering visitors to your site.

The free AcquisitionSuite (Lite) plugin does not contact our servers and sends us no data.

- To send transactional emails (receipts, renewal reminders, security notices)
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security issues
- To improve the website and product based on aggregate usage patterns
We do not sell your personal data.
4. Payment processing
Payments are processed by Stripe, Paystack, or Flutterwave, depending on the option you choose at checkout. These processors receive the payment details necessary to complete your transaction and are independently responsible for that data under their own privacy policies. We store only the minimum transaction metadata needed for order history and support (such as amount, date, and a transaction reference).
5. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functionality (like remembering your selected plan through checkout) and, if enabled, analytics tools such as Google Analytics or a Meta pixel. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some site functionality. Where the law requires consent for non-essential cookies, we ask for it before setting them.
6. Data retention
We retain account and license data for as long as your license is active, and for a reasonable period after expiry to handle renewals, refund requests, and legal obligations. Contact form messages are retained only as long as needed to resolve your inquiry.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at legal@ufirstdev.com. We’ll respond within a reasonable timeframe and in line with applicable law (for example, GDPR for EU/UK residents or CCPA/CPRA for California residents). For data collected on a site running AcquisitionSuite, contact that site’s owner.
8. International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for these transfers.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption and signed license API requests. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
