1. Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Smart LeadLock, including our website at smartleadlock.ufirstdev.com, our WordPress plugin, and any related services (together, the “Service”), provided by UfirstDEV Technologies (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, installing, purchasing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Smart LeadLock is a WordPress plugin that lets site owners gate digital files behind lead capture forms, automate follow-up email sequences, score and segment leads, and sell digital downloads through supported payment gateways. The Lite edition is provided free of charge. Pro and Agency editions require an active, paid license.
3. Accounts and license keys
When you purchase a paid plan, we issue you a license key by email. You are responsible for keeping this key confidential. Your license permits activation on the number of domains included in your plan (1 for Pro, 5 for Agency 5, 25 for Agency 25, or unlimited for Agency Unlimited). Activating a license on more domains than your plan allows may result in the license being paused until brought back into compliance.
4. Billing and renewal
Paid plans are billed annually in advance. Unless you cancel before your renewal date, your subscription will renew automatically at the then-current price for a further one-year term. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account or by contacting smartleadlock@ufirstdev.com; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

6. License expiry
If a paid license is not renewed, the plugin continues to function using the free (Lite) feature set. All of your data, including leads, submissions, and orders, is preserved. Premium features are paused, not deleted, and are restored automatically if you renew.
7. Payments to you (paid downloads)
If you use Smart LeadLock to sell digital downloads through Stripe, Paystack, or Flutterwave, you are contracting directly with those payment processors, not with us. We do not take a commission on your sales; you are responsible for the fees charged by your chosen payment processor and for complying with any tax obligations arising from your sales.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to: violate any applicable law; distribute malware, spam, or unlawful content; circumvent license restrictions; or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or another customer’s data.
9. Intellectual property
The Smart LeadLock plugin, website, and branding are owned by UfirstDEV Technologies. Your purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the plugin on the number of domains permitted by your plan. You may not resell, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the plugin.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UfirstDEV Technologies will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll update the “Last updated” date below when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the company is registered, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
