After a successful payment, you control exactly what the buyer sees:
- Email only: the download link is sent by email, nothing shows on the success page
- Instant: the download starts automatically the moment payment is confirmed
- Both: instant download and an email backup, in case they lose the tab
What happens behind the scenes
When a buyer completes payment, several things happen automatically: the order is marked paid, a lead record is created or updated, the purchase is scored and tagged, any relevant automations fire, and both the buyer and you receive email notifications. None of it needs to be wired up manually per product.
The part people usually ask about first: fees
Smart LeadLock doesn’t take a commission on what you sell. You pay a flat annual fee for the plugin itself, and your payment gateway’s standard processing fees apply, the same as they would anywhere else. What you charge is what you keep.
Where this fits
