Add-ons
An add-on is a small separate plugin that connects AcquisitionSuite to another plugin or service. It hands that plugin’s customers and events to AcquisitionSuite, which does the rest: it finds or creates the lead by email, records the event once, tags the lead with its source, and runs your automation rules and email sequences.

What you need
- AcquisitionSuite Pro 3.7.0 or later with an active license. One Pro license covers every add-on.
- For the connecting add-ons, the plugin they connect to. The messaging add-ons need an account with the provider you choose.
Lite lists the add-ons and shows which of them match plugins already on your site. Installing and using them needs Pro.
Install an add-on
- Open AcquisitionSuite → Add-ons.
- Find the add-on’s card. It shows what the add-on needs: a minimum Pro version, PHP, WordPress, and the plugin it connects to.
- Choose Install, then Activate. If your site cannot install from the dashboard, use Download zip and upload it under Plugins.
- Choose Settings on the card to set it up.
A download is only installed if its checksum matches the one the server published and everything in it sits inside the add-on’s own folder.
What every connecting add-on does the same way
- Each event is handled once, however many times the other plugin fires its hooks. A retried event changes nothing.
- Nothing runs inside the visitor’s request, so a slow or failing step cannot hold up a checkout or a form submission.
- Marketing consent is separate. A purchase or a form submission is not consent to marketing. People are only added to your connected email service when they agreed, and each add-on lets you choose how consent is known.
- Add-ons add triggers and conditions to the automation rule builder, such as an order total.
- Importing history never contacts anyone. No rule runs, nobody is enrolled in a sequence or sent to an email service, and imported leads are tagged “imported”.
Activity and retries
The Add-ons page shows a feed of recent add-on activity, with a button to retry events that failed. Submissions an add-on records are labelled with the add-on’s name and can be filtered by it, instead of “Default Form”.
Stop a sequence when someone buys
The Stop Sequence automation action ends a lead’s sequence emails, for one sequence or all of them. Use it on an order trigger so a recovery or nurture sequence stops when the customer buys. See Automation.
