Installation

Smart LeadLock requires WordPress 6.2 or higher, PHP 7.4 or higher, MySQL 5.6 or higher, and the openssl, mbstring, and json PHP extensions. HTTPS is required if you plan to accept payments.

Install the plugin

1. Download the ZIP file from smartleadlock.ufirstdev.com (or from WordPress.org for the Lite edition)
2. Go to WordPress Admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
3. Upload the ZIP and click Install Now
4. Click Activate Plugin
5. Go to Smart LeadLock → Dashboard to confirm it’s active

Activate a paid license

If you purchased a Pro or Agency plan, go to Smart LeadLock → License and enter the license key you received by email. The Lite plan works immediately with no key required.

First-time setup checklist

• Upload at least one file under Smart LeadLock → Upload Files
• Add the shortcode

• Configure your from email under Settings → Email: Delivery
• Submit a test form to confirm everything works end to end
• Check Email Logs to confirm delivery
• If you’re selling downloads, configure a gateway under Payment Settings
