License expiry and renewal
What happens as a Pro license nears its end date, and how to keep everything running.
Checking your license
Open AcquisitionSuite → License. It shows the Status (Active or Inactive), the Expiry Date (or Lifetime), the Site Limit and the sites the license is Activated on, plus this site’s Install ID.
How validation works
Once a day your site quietly confirms with the licensing server that the license is still valid for this domain. The result is cached, so a brief server outage does not affect you.
If the server cannot be reached
If the check fails because the licensing server is unreachable, a 7-day grace period keeps Pro features on. Once the server responds normally the grace period ends. Only if the license stays unverifiable after the grace period do premium features pause.
When a license expires
- Premium features (sequences, automation, scoring, pipeline, paid downloads and so on) pause. The site keeps running on the free Lite feature set.
- No data is deleted: leads, submissions, orders, rules and settings all stay in place.
- You stop receiving Pro updates and priority support.
- A dismissible notice tells you the license has expired. Dismissing it only hides that specific expiry; a later one will show again.
Renewing
- Renew from your account or the pricing page. See Pricing.
- Return to AcquisitionSuite → License. If it still shows the old date, deactivate and re-enter the key, or wait for the next daily check.
- Features resume automatically.
Because the key stays the same, you do not need to reconfigure anything.
Moving to another site
A license is active on the domains in your plan’s site limit. To free one up, click Deactivate License on the old site first. See Transferring to a new domain.
Update notices
When a newer Pro version exists and your license is active, a sitewide, dismissible notice appears, and the License screen shows an Update now button. See Updating the plugin.
Billing questions
Renewals, invoices and refunds are covered in the Terms and Refund Policy, or contact support.
