Leads not reaching your email service
Leads are saved in WordPress but missing from Mailchimp, Brevo or MailWizz.
1. Confirm the integration is on and saved
On Integrations, make sure the provider is switched on and you clicked Save Integration Settings. The Dashboard also lists each integration’s status.
2. Test the connection
- Mailchimp: use Test Key.
- Brevo and MailWizz: use Test Connection.
An invalid key, wrong API URL (MailWizz) or blocked server will show here.
3. Choose a list or audience
A list must be selected. Use Fetch Lists after the test succeeds, then pick one and save again.
4. Check for pending contacts
With double opt-in on, contacts stay pending until they confirm. In Mailchimp look for pending or unconfirmed subscribers; in Brevo check your DOI template ID and the confirmation email; in MailWizz check unconfirmed subscribers.
5. Check the integration log
Each attempt to reach your provider is recorded with the outcome. A message such as “member exists”, “invalid email” or an authentication error explains why a contact was refused.
6. Check the lead’s email
Providers refuse invalid addresses, role addresses in some cases, and previously unsubscribed or cleaned contacts. A returning subscriber who unsubscribed cannot be re-added by the API.
7. Check field mapping
If contacts arrive but fields are empty, review Field mapping and, for MailWizz, the custom field TAG mapping.
8. Server access
Your host must allow outbound HTTPS requests to the provider. Security plugins and firewalls sometimes block them.
