Updating the plugin
Keep both plugins current for security fixes and new features. Lite and Pro update independently.
Updating Lite
Lite is hosted on WordPress.org, so updates appear under Dashboard → Updates and Plugins like any other plugin. Click Update now, or enable auto-updates for the plugin.
Updating Pro
With an active license, Pro checks for new versions daily. When one is available a dismissible notice appears in your admin, and the update shows on the Plugins page. Update from there. The notice reappears when an even newer version is published.
If Pro shows no update while you know one exists, open AcquisitionSuite → License and confirm the license is active for this domain. An expired or unactivated license cannot receive updates, although your site keeps running. See License expiry and renewal.
Before you update
- Take a backup of your files and database, especially before a major version.
- Update Lite first, then Pro, if both have updates waiting.
- Read the Changelog for anything that affects your setup.
After you update
Open System Status and confirm everything is green. Database changes, when a release needs them, run automatically the first time an admin page loads after the update.
Rolling back
If something breaks, restore your backup, or install the previous version’s ZIP over the current one. Your leads and settings are stored in the database and are not removed by replacing plugin files.
