Email queue
The Email Queue (Pro) shows every step of every email sequence: what is scheduled, what has been sent, and what went wrong.
Reading the queue
Each row is one enrollment of one lead in one sequence, with its current step, status and next send time. Filter by sequence and by status:
- Scheduled / Error: waiting to send, or a send that hit an error
- Active: a running enrollment
- Paused and Stopped: enrollments no longer sending
- Completed and Failed: finished enrollments
How sending is scheduled
Sequences are processed by a background task that runs about every five minutes using WordPress cron. A step becomes due after the delay you set. An “Overdue” hint with a Process Now button appears when a scheduled time has passed but the task has not run yet, which is common on low-traffic sites. See Sequences not sending.
Actions
- Process Now: runs the queue immediately instead of waiting for cron.
- Unenroll: stops a lead’s sequence.
- Clear finished: remove completed, failed or stopped enrollments, in bulk, to tidy the list.
Automatic clearing
Finished enrollments are cleared automatically after a set number of days (default 7). Adjust it under Settings → Data Retention. See Data retention.
Enrolling a lead manually
Open a sequence and enroll a lead, or use an automation rule with the Enroll in Sequence action. A lead already in the sequence is not enrolled twice.
