Email placeholders
Placeholders are short tags in curly braces that AcquisitionSuite replaces with real values when an email is sent. You can use them in subjects and in HTML templates.
Lead tags (single braces)
| Tag | Becomes |
|---|---|
{full_name} |
The lead’s name |
{email} |
The lead’s email address |
{file_name} |
The title of the gated file |
{download_link} |
The signed download link |
{site_name} |
Your site name |
Custom fields from your forms can be used too, using the field’s key, for example {phone} or {company}. In a sequence attached to a specific form, those tags resolve from that form’s fields.
Design tokens (double braces)
Used inside the HTML template to apply your Email: Design & Template settings:
| Token | Becomes |
|---|---|
{{header_color}} |
The header background color |
{{button_color}} |
The button color |
{{button_text}} |
The button label |
{{footer_text}} |
The footer text |
{{logo_block}} |
Your logo, if one is set |
{{expiry_minutes}} |
How long the link stays valid |
{{current_year}} |
The current year |
Payment emails (Pro)
Payment success screens and receipts also accept {site_name} and {order_number}. See Payment emails.
Tips
- Placeholders are case-sensitive and must be typed exactly, with no spaces inside the braces.
- Use Email: Preview & Test to see them replaced with sample data before you send a real email.
- If a tag stays visible in a received email, the field key does not match a field on the submitted form.
