Shortcode reference
Every shortcode AcquisitionSuite registers, with its attributes.
[acquis_download]
Shows the button that opens the lead capture popup for a gated file. Also registered as [acquisitionsuite_download] for older pages.
| Attribute | Default | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
id |
0 | The gated file’s ID (required). Shown next to the file on Upload Files. |
label |
Your default button label | Text on the button. |
form |
0 | ID of a specific form to use. Leave out to use the file’s assigned form. |
Examples:
[acquis_download id="123"][acquis_download id="123" label="Get the checklist"][acquis_download id="123" form="3"]
If the ID does not match a file, the page shows “[AcquisitionSuite] File not found.”
[acquis_form]
Shows a standalone form (a form not gating a file).
| Attribute | Default | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
id |
0 | The form’s ID (required), shown in the Form Builder. |
display |
The form’s own setting | embedded or popup. Pro also accepts floating. |
Examples:
[acquis_form id="3"][acquis_form id="3" display="popup"]
Gutenberg block
The AcquisitionSuite Form block (acquisitionsuite/form) does the same as [acquis_form] with a form dropdown and display style in the sidebar.
Page builders (Pro)
An Elementor widget and a Bricks element expose the same two choices: Form and Display Style.
Where shortcodes work
Posts, pages, widgets and any builder shortcode module. They do not run inside the documentation examples on this site; those are shown as code on purpose.
Finding IDs
- File ID: on Upload Files, in the shortcode shown beside each file.
- Form ID: in the Form Builder, via Copy Shortcode on the form.
