Transferring to a new domain
Moving a license from one site to another (for example, launching on a new domain, or replacing a staging site with production) takes two steps.
1. Deactivate on the old domain
On the old site, go to Smart LeadLock → License → Deactivate License. This frees up one activation slot on your license.
2. Activate on the new domain
On the new site, go to Smart LeadLock → License → Activate License and enter the same key.
If you don’t have access to the old site
If the old site is gone and you can’t deactivate it first, and you’re at your plan’s site limit, contact support and we’ll help free up the slot.
Agency plans support multiple simultaneous activations (5, 25, or unlimited depending on your plan), so this is usually only relevant to single-site Pro licenses.
