Form plugin add-ons

Four add-ons turn submissions from other form plugins into AcquisitionSuite leads: WPForms (Lite or Pro), Fluent Forms (Lite or Pro), Formidable (Lite or Pro) and Contact Form 7 (any version). They work the same way, so this page covers all four. Each needs AcquisitionSuite Pro 3.7.0 or later with an active license. See Add-ons for installing them.

What happens to a submission

AcquisitionSuite finds or creates the lead by email, tags it with the source (source:wpforms, source:fluentform, source:formidable or source:cf7), form-lead and form:<form name>, saves every answer on the lead, and runs your automation rules and email sequences.

The trigger

Each add-on adds one trigger to the rule builder: WPForms: Form Submitted, Fluent Forms: Form Submitted, Formidable: Form Submitted or Contact Form 7: Form Submitted. Rules can narrow it with the form name or ID, the page the form was on, the marketing consent answer, or any short answer (as answer_<field name>).

What it finds for you

  • The email, name, phone number and company are found from the field types and labels. No mapping is needed.
  • With Contact Form 7, no mapping is needed for forms that use an email field. If a form collects the email in a plain text field, tell the add-on its name.
  • Card numbers, passwords and payment fields are never copied.
  • Forms without an email address are left alone.
  • Pick all forms or only the forms you choose.
  • Nothing runs inside the form request, so a slow or failing step cannot break a submission.

Filling in a form is not consent to marketing. Under AcquisitionSuite → Add-ons, open the add-on and choose how consent is known: not known, a tick box on the form (a checkbox or choice about newsletters, offers or updates), or everyone who submits. People are only added to your connected email service when consent is yes. A plain “I accept the privacy policy” box is not treated as marketing consent.
